In Autodesk Inventor, a project file (.ipj) defines the locations of all files associated with the project, including templates and library files. Each project is identified with a main folder that can contain files and folders associated to the design. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons. The Autodesk Inventor data management system organizes files based on projects.
